Viet Nam's U19 national team was defeated 0-2 in their first match against hosts Palestine at the Al-Nakba International Football Tournament on Monday.

The Palestinian players attacked during the 90 minutes and earned two goals at the 20th and 77th.

Nguyen Hai Tung, head of the Vietnamese team, said: "We felt satisfied with this result. It helped our footballers gain more experience to prepare for the Asian Football Confederation U19 Championships."
