HA NOI (VNS)– Viet Nams U-23 team recorded a 1-0 win over one of Myanmars top football clubs in their first friendly in the country.

After a host of missed chances, Tran Phi Son finally scored a first-half goal which proved enough to overcome Naypyitaw, who finished the 2013 Myanmar National League as runners-up.

The Vietnamese team will play Myanmars U23s in their second friendly tomorrow before returning home to take part in the Binh Duong Television Cup. -- VNS
