HA NOI (VNS) — Three Vietnamese veteran musicians, who were born and grew up in Ha Noi, will perform their famous and new songs tonight at the Ha Noi Opera House at 8pm.
For the first time, close friends Nguyen Cuong, Pho Duc Phuong and Truong Ngoc Ninh are holding a concert to recall the long road they have travelled together, and to share their love of the capital city.
"We had thought of organising this show a long time ago, but it got delayed due to our different timetables. Now, with the help of the Ha Noi Musician Association, we can realise this wish," said Cuong.
The audience at the show will be treated to famous songs about Ha Noi that made the three musicians famous, as well as their new songs, including Mai Van La Tuoi Tho Toi Ha Noi (Forever my childhood in Ha Noi) composed by Nguyen Cuong, Bien Khat (Thirsty Sea), Hat Mua Xuan (Spring Raindrop) by Truong Ngoc Ninh, and Tren Dinh Phu Van (On the top of Phu Van Peak).
The songs will be accompanied by instruments played by young musicians including Anh Quan, Do Bao and Luu Ha An, and sung by leading singers such as My Linh, Tung Duong, Minh Quan and Nhat Thuy, as well as Minh Thu and the group M4U. — VNS
