Youngster Nguyen Thi Anh Vien shone at the Southeast Asian (SEA) Age Groups Swimming Championship which wrapped up in Brunei on Sunday.
Vien, who recently returned from a short training course in the US, competed in 13 events in the 16-18 age group.
She brought home 11 golds and two silvers, and broke seven SEA Age Groups records and one SEA Games record in the women's 200m backstroke.
Thanks to her impressive performance, Viet Nam team finished fourth in the medals table, behind Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.
Vien will next take part in the fourth Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Inchoen, South Korea, from June 29 to July 6.-VNS
