HA NOI (VNS) — Viet Nam's top female swimmer Nguyen Thi Anh Vien yesterday made it through to the final of the women's 200m individual medley at the FINA World Cup in Moscow, Russia.

Vien finished fourth in the qualifers with a time of 2min 15.33sec.

In the women's 200m individual freestyle, Vien, who took a bronze medal at the Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea, last year, failed to qualify after ranking 19th with a time of 2:02.45.

Overseas Vietnamese Le Nguyen Paul finished 16th in the men's 100m individual backstroke. — VNS
