HA NOI (VNS) — Top Vietnamese swimmer Nguyen Thi Anh Vien won the women's 400m individual medley bronze medal in the FINA World Cup's second stage in France this morning.
Vien clocked a time of 4min 42.53 to finish third.
The gold and silver medals went to Hungary's Katinka Hosszu and Zsuzsanna Jakabos, who won with a time of 4:35.80 and 4:37.63, respectively.
At the recent World Cup's first stage in Moscow, Russia, 18-year-old Vien won a silver medal in the same category with a better time of 4:40.79.
Born in the southern Can Tho Province, Vien also won a bronze medal in the women's 200m individual medley in Russia. — VNS
