HCM CITY — Việt Nam has secured the 36th position in the ranking of the 40 most beautiful countries in 2024 in a testament to its undeniable charm and appeal, according to US News & World Report.
The comprehensive evaluation process accentuates the unique attributes that distinguish Viet Nam on the international stage.
Since its inception in 1933, US News & World Report has been committed to delivering valuable insights, and this latest ranking highlights Việt Nam’s evolution into a modern and dynamic nation.
Home to breathtaking landscapes and a rich cultural heritage, Việt Nam has garnered recognition not only for its stunning natural beauty but also for its exquisite cuisine and warm hospitality.
With an overall score of 26.6 points, it excels in several categories, including its exceptional culinary offerings (63.7 points), picturesque landscapes (45.2 points), rich cultural attractions (41.6 points), and a compelling historical narrative (48 points).

The economic reforms initiated in 1986 have positioned Việt Nam on the global stage, enhancing its competitiveness and underscoring its commitment to sustainable development, according to the publication.
As it embraces open trade and progressive industrial policies, Việt Nam invites travelers worldwide to immerse themselves in its vibrant culture and stunning scenery.

In addition, Việt Nam has been recognised as one of the safest destinations for women traveling alone, as voted by the British magazine TIME OUT.
The Southeast Asian nation welcomed over 15.8 million international travelers in the first 11 months, up over 40 per cent year-on-year, according to its Statistics Office. — VNS
