HA NOI (VNS) — Viet Nam won a silver medal at the ninth Southeast Asia Table Tennis Championships in Cambodia on Sunday.
The Vietnamese women's squad lost 2-3 to Singapore in the final match.
They had defeated Malaysia 3-0, Indonesia 3-2 and Thailand 3-1 in the previous stages.
The Vietnamese men's team, however, failed to make top three.
The championships began in Phnom Penh on Saturday, with the participation of 90 players from eight countries.
The eight-day-long competition will end on November 8. — VNS
