HA NOI (VNS) — Viet Nam beat Yunnan of China in the second match of the 2014 VTV International Women's Volleyball Cup in the northern province of Bac Ninh yesterday.
The team won 25-15, 25-20 and 25-16.
On Saturday, the team had lost to Thailand 3-0 in the opening match.
Today, Viet Nam will meet Australia.
This year, a local team and five international teams from Thailand, Australia, North Korea, Kazakhstan and China's Yunnan are participating in the tournament.
The six teams are playing in a round-robin format to select four teams for the semi-finals. The first prize is worth US$10,000. — VNS
