HA NOI (VNS) — Viet Nam's national futsal team beat Slovenia 6-4 in their second friendly match during a training course in Croatia yesterday.
Slovenia dominated the match in the initial minutes, and scored two goals in the 11th and 16th minute. However, Ngoc Son narrowed the score for Viet Nam in the 18th minute to 1-2.
In the second half, the Vietnamese team's Spanish coach Bruno Formoso changed tactics, which had its effect. Van Vu levelled the score in the 22nd minute with a penalty kick.
Goals came to Viet Nam in quick succession. Slovenia raised the score to 3-2, and then Anh Tung equalised it 3-3 just a minute later.
With spectacular attacks, Van Vu, Quoc Nam and new recruit Tri Kiet scored three more goals for Viet Nam, but Slovenia curtailed the score to 6-4.
In the first friendly match, Viet Nam had lost to Croatia 3-6. — VNS
