HA NOI — (VNS) Viet Nam took second place with three golds, six silvers and three bronze medals at the World Wushu Championships 2013, which finishes today in Malaysia.
In the men's dao (knife) category, Tran Xuan Hiep won the first gold after beating Seungjae Cho of South Korea with 9,68 points.
In the women's qiang (spear) division, Duong Thuy Vi took another gold medal with 9,62 points, while the third gold went to Nguyen Thi Chinh after defeating Sanathoi Devi of India 2-0 in the final match of the 48kg women's sanshou event.
The tournament attracted 68 countries and territories including China, Viet Nam, Iran and South Korea. – VNS.
