Viet Nam remained 132nd in the world and first in the Southeast Asian region in the latest May rankings, according to the International Federation of Association Football.

Thailand stayed second in the region but dropped two positions to 142nd in the world, followed by the Philippines (144), Myanmar (158) and Malaysia (161).

In Asia overall, the top three places belong to Japan (world No 30), South Korea (44) and Australia (47). Spain still lead the world, ahead of Germany and Argentina.-VNS
