TOKYO (VNS) — The annual Viet Nam Festival will be held in Yoyogi Park in the centre of Tokyo from June 13 to 14. Entitled Hand in Hand, it will include 103 booths displaying Vietnamese cuisine and handicrafts.

Japanese and Vietnamese artists will offer performances of fashion and music. There will also be a show by the famous water puppets.

A website has been designed to promote the festival and a group of girls dressed in ao dai, are also spreading information in Japan.

According to the organisers, Viet Nam Festival 2015 will welcome about 150,000 visitors.

Viet Nam's ambassador to Japan, Doan Xuan Hung, said he hoped the festival would continue to be a success and significantly contribute to the close-knit relationship between Viet Nam and Japan. — VNS
