HA NOI  (VNS) — Viet Nam team have jumped four steps to take the 133rd place in the latest January ranking, according to the International Federation of Association Football.

The Philippines rose one step to become the world's No 129 and took the lead in the Southeast Asian region, followed by Viet Nam and Myanmar, in 141st place.

In Asia, Viet Nam held the 19th position. The top three spots belong to Iran, Japan and South Korea.

The world's leading 45 positions remain unchanged. Germany leads the world. The second and third places go to Argentina and Colombia respectively. — VNS
