HA NOI (VNS) — Viet Nam's national football team have jumped one place to 124th in the rankings for May, the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has announced.

With this jump, Viet Nam are the number one team in the Southeast Asian region, followed by the Philippines who are 137th in the world and Thailand who are 142nd.

Viet Nam rank 14th in the Asian region, with the top three being Iran (40), Japan (50) and South Korea (57).
