HA NOI (VNS) — Viet Nam led at the end of the second day of competition at the 12th ASEAN Taekwondo Federation (ATF) Championships at the Lanh Binh Thang Gymnasium in HCM City yesterday.
They won 34 gold, 25 silver and 15 bronze medals. The Philippines were placed second with 17 gold, 19 silver and seven bronze medals, while Malaysia were third with five gold, seven silver and 12 bronze medals.
More than 300 fighters are taking part in the tournament, which will end on March 26.
They are vying for 172 sets of medals, including 56 sets in the combat category and 116 for demonstrations. — VNS
