World gold medallists Nguyen Dinh Toan and Nguyen Minh Tu successfully topped the mixed double event of the poomsae (performance) category.
Toan, the world champion, failed to triumph and earned a silver medal in the men's singles category.
Earlier, trio Nguyen Thi Thu Ngan, Chau Tuyet Ngan and Nguyen Thuy Xuan Linh won in the women's team pool.
South Korea took the lead with six gold medals after two poomsae events for the senior and junior athletes. Viet Nam are second, followed by Iran and the Philippines.
The combat events kicked off yesterday and will be wrapped up on Friday.-VNS
