HA NOI (VNS) — The Vietnamese women's volleyball team ranked second in the 18th South-East Asian (SEA) Junior Men's and Women's Volleyball Championship held at the Wunna Theikti Indoor Stadium in Myanmar on Wednesday.
The team gained three points from one win and one loss. Thailand led the rankings by winning two successive matches without dropping a set and gaining six points. Hosts Myanmar lost both their matches and were placed third.
On the men's side, Thailand gained 12 points from four straight wins, followed by Myanmar A with eight points from three wins and one loss.
The third place went to New Zealand with five points coming from two wins and two losses. Myanmar B and Viet Nam were placed fourth and fifth, respectively. — VNS
