Viet Nam have jumped six places to 140 in the FIFA October world rankings.

The country remains second in the Southeast Asia region behind Thailand, who fell from 131st to 139th.

Third place in the region are the Philippines in 147th, while defending SEA Games champions Malaysia are in fourth.

World and European champions Spain retained top spot, followed by Germany and Portugal.-VNS
