Vietnamese martial artists won four gold, one silver
and four bronze medals at the Phuket International Choi Young-seok
Taekwondo Championships.
HA NOI (VNS)– Vietnamese martial artists won four gold, one silver and four bronze medals at the Phuket International Choi Young-seok Taekwondo Championships.
All the gold medals went to Hanoian athletes in the U17 performance events.
Le Anh Hao won gold in the men's individual performance; Do Phuong Ha took the women's individual gold; Hao and Ha in the mixed doubles and the last gold medal went to the trio Ha, Hao and Phuong Thi Hong Chinh in the mixed team.
The only silver medal went to Phan Trung Duc in the men's 68kg combat category.
The three-day event attracted the participation of athletes from 20 countries and territories competing in both performance and combat events.
The event was a chance for Vietnamese athletes to prepare for the upcoming 27th Southeast Asian Games in Myanmar. – VNS
