HA NOI (VNS) — Viet Nam's cycling team will participate at the Asian Cycling Championship 2015 which kicks off today in Thailand.
The 14-strong team includes male veterans Le Van Duan, Trinh Duc Tam and Nguyen Thanh Tam, and female veterans Nguyen Thi That, Nguyen Thuy Dung and Phan Thi Lieu.
Among them, That won a silver medal at the 17th Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea last year.
More than 400 racers from 41 different countries will compete from 10pm until midnight in the four-day event which will finish on Saturday.
This year's tournament will provide a chance for Viet Nam and other Southeast Asian nations to prepare for the in the 28th SEA Games in Singapore in June. — VNS
