HA NOI (VNS) — Viet Nam will take part in the fourth Asian Beach Games with 138 players competing in 18 of 26 events, according to the National Sports Administration.
The delegation, under Deputy Head of Administration Lam Quang Thanh, will compete against more than 3,500 athletes from 44 countries and territories in Phuket, Thailand.
The nine-day Games begin on November 14.
In the previous Games held in China two years ago, Viet Nam ranked 12th overall after winning two silver medals and a bronze medal.
Viet Nam will host the fifth edition in Khanh Hoa Province and Da Nang City in 2016. — VNS
