HA NOI (VNS) — Viet Nam took the lead in the Southeast Asia (SEA) Karatedo Federation Championships 2015, which concluded in Vientiane, Laos, on Sunday.
The team won 12 gold, four silver and nine bronze medals. Thailand finished second with six gold and 13 silver medals, while Malaysia came third with six gold, seven silver and 11 bronze medals.
About 200 athletes from eight countries in the region participated in the four-day championships.
Viet Nam also triumphed at the same event held in the Cuu Long (Mekong) Delta city of Can Tho last year with 14 gold, 22 silver and 30 bronze medals. — VNS
