HANOI (VNS) — Vietnamese athletes dominated all categories of the Southeast Asian E-Sport Championships' FIFA Online 3 which wrapped-up in HCM City on Sunday.
Local Nguyen Thai Bao defeated Joseph Yew of Singapore in the individual class to take his title together with a bonus of VND63 million (US$2,900).
His team Sai Gon FFG won over Neolution Esports from Thailand.
It was the first time an international tournament for FIFA Online 3 has been held in Viet Nam.
Earlier, the Abuzu Taipei Assassins topped the League of Legends event.
The two-day HCM City competition attracted teams from six countries and territories, competing at the Phu Tho Gymnasium in front of 10,000 spectators. — VNS
