HA NOI (VNS)-- Nguyen Phuoc Den has won a gold medal at the ongoing Southeast Asian Fencing Federation Cadets and Juniors Championships in Brunei.

He triumphed in the men's epee.

Vietnamese fencers also brought home silver and bronze medals in the women's sabre and foil, and the men's team foil event.

The tournament will last until February 4.

After this event, Viet Nam will join the Asian Junior and Cadet Fencing Championships in Thailand from March 2-11 before heading to Croatia for the World Junior and Cadet Fencing Championships from April 9-15. – VNS
