HA NOI (VNS) — Two Vietnamese writers, Nguyen Ngoc Moc and Cao Xuan Thai, have been honoured at the 6th Conference of Mekong River Literature Awards in Vientiane, Laos.

About 100 well-known writers, poets, literary critics from six countries along the Mekong River, including Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, China and Viet Nam, attended the conference.

The event is a chance for authors to exchange and promote activities related to literature among six countries as well as award prizes to outstanding writers and poets. This year, 12 writers were honoured on Wednesday. — VNS
