Tran Phan Bao Khanh was leading in the Girls' U-14 category, having pocketed all three points after three wins. She will next meet Nyimas Shieta Prima Citra Mau of Indonesia, who also has three points.
Khanh's teammate Bach Ngoc Thuy Duong is also on top in the Girls' U-12 class after three victories. Younger Master Pham Tran Gia Thu dominated the Girls' U-10 group.
Yesterday, all Vietnamese competitors in the Boys' and Seniors' categories suffered losses. None of them could maintain the first position in all eight categories.
