HCM CITY (VNS) —Vietnamese athletes pocketed one silver and one bronze in the "Golden Racket" HCM City international table tennis tournament, which concluded on Saturday.
Dinh Quang Linh earned a bronze in the men's single event after losing 9-11, 11-5, 12-10, 12-14, 8-11, 8-11 to South Korean Kim Bum-seob in the semi-finals.
Another South Korean, Lee Jin-kwon, successfully defended his title after beating Kim in the final match.
The women's singles title went to Kato Kyoka of Japan.
Earlier, HCM City's Petrosetco took a silver in the women's team event. — VNS
