HA NOI (VNS) — Vietnamese judo players won two bronze medals at the Asian Open Judo Championship in Chinese Taipei on Monday.
Van Ngoc Tu finished third in the women's U48-kilogram category and Nguyen Thi Quynh was placed third in the women's U52-kilogram class.
More than 200 judo players from 22 teams participated in the two-day-long judo tournament.
Hosts Chinese Taipei topped the overall ranking with three gold, four silver and six bronze medals. China and Russia were place second and third, respectively. — VNS
