HA NOI (VNS) –—Vietnamese photographer Viet Van has grabbed two top prizes at the Mulafoco Award Contest in Uruguay.
His photo Di Lam Sang (Morning Rush Hour) won in the People – Daily Life category, while the Khoanh Khac Quyet Dinh (Decisive Moment) photo triumphed in the Architecture&Urbanisation – Transport Means category.
Van, a journalist with the Lao Dong (Labour) newspaper, will receive a recognition diploma of Master of Contemporary Photography, and his photos, together with the other award-winning photos, will be exhibited in Mulafoco's annual exhibitions as well as on its website.
The contest is part of the Mulafoco Project Museum – the Latin American Museum of Contemporary Photography in Montevideo, Uruguay – which sponsors photographers and artists who work with photography in all forms across the world. – VNS
