DA NANG (VNS) — Photographer Bui Vy Van from Binh Duong won an Artist of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) award.
Van won a gold medal for his photo of Tra Khuc River, which was displayed at the International Photographic Exhibition Han Pijesak in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is the deputy director of Binh Duong Provincial Photography Club and was among eight Vietnamese photographers who participated in the event.
Vietnamese photographer and lawyer Nguyen Ngoc Thach bagged a gold medal for his work Farmer Painting 2.
Van and Thach also won gold medals at FIAP 2014 in Bulgaria in the Landscape category.
In 2013, Da Nang-based Dang Van No's Em Be Co Tu (Co Tu Ethnic Child) won first prize in the FIAP International photo contest's portrait division. — VNS
