HA NOI (VNS)– Viet Nam's No 1 striker Le Cong Vinh has been voted Best Footballer in Southeast Asia in a poll conducted by the online football news page www.goal.com

Vinh, who has been on loan to Consadole Sapporo of Japan, led the final poll of 10 candidates, with 42 per cent of votes.

Teerasil Dangda of Thailand finished second with 28.9 per cent and Javier Patino of Philippines third with 26.9 per cent. – VNS
