HA NOI (VNS)— Literature and arts play an important role in nurturing the friendship between Viet Nam and China, a senior Party official said while welcoming a delegation of Chinese writers to Viet Nam.

During the reception, led by the association's president Tie Ning, Huynh expressed hope that the writers' associations of Viet Nam and China would continue to work closely together to strengthen the traditional friendship between the two nations.
Tie Ning briefed her host on her association's work as well as the past co-operation between the writers' associations of Viet Nam and China.
