Prague (VNS) — A collection of Vietnamese-Czech literary works by Do Ngoc Viet Dung has made its debut in Prague, Czech Republic.
The debut was one of 65 cultural events celebrating the 65th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
Chairman of the Viet Nam Culture and Arts Association in the Czech Republic Doan Cat said author Do Ngoc Viet Dung is only among a few Vietnamese who have published books and poems about Vietnamese lives in the Czech language.
Dung has also translated hundreds of Czech literary pieces, history books and songs into Vietnamese.
Dung, for his part, said he was honoured to be the third Vietnamese admitted to the Czech Writers' Association.
Further, Cat said his association will assign a team to translate several famous Vietnamese works into the Czech language. — VNS
