HA NOI (VNS)– Viet Nam beat Malaysia in their last round-robin group match yesterday to reach the final of the Southeast Asian Women's Futsal Championships.
At the Wunna Theikdi Sports Complex in Naypyitaw, Myanmar, Viet Nam had to recover from 2-0 down to beat Malaysia 4-2 to finish group runners-up with two wins and a loss.
Viet Nam will face favourites Thailand in the final tomorrow. The Thais have so far proved their superiority, winning all three matches to take the group.
Myanmar and Malaysia will vie for third place today. – VNS
