HA NOI (VNS) — Viet Nam placed third overall at the 25th ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet, which closed in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Thailand, on November 25.
The Vietnamese soldier marksmen pocketed one gold, three silvers and four bronze medals in nearly two weeks of competitions. Last year, they stood in sixth place.
Thailand took the top berth, followed by Indonesia.
The meet lured 10 delegations, competing in five different categories for both men and women.
The next event will be hosted by the Philippines. — VNS
