will kick off this weekend to celebrate the 40th anniversary of
diplomatic ties between both countries.
HA NOI (VNS)—A host of friendlies between Vietnamese and Japanese U12 football teams will kick off this weekend to celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between both countries.
The two-day event has attracted six teams of Promotion Fund for Vietnamese Football Talents (PVF), Football for All in Viet Nam (FFAV), Viettel, Ha Noi and the Hotts Blue and Hotts White from Japan.
The tournament is co-organised by the Viet Nam Football Federation and the Viet Nam Youth Football Training Centre.
It also marks the 2013 Japan-Viet Nam Friendship Year.-VNS
