HA NOI (VNS) — Japan came from behind to beat Viet Nam 3-2 in group A's last match at the Japan-Mekong U15 Football Exchange 2015 in J Green Sakai Centre, Japan, on July 2.

Viet Nam dominated the match in the first half, with Nguyen Khac Khiem scoring two goals to take the lead.

After the break, Japan made many quick attacks for goals and scored three of them to win the match.

With two wins and one loss, Viet Nam rank second in the group. They will meet Laos, who rank second in group B, in the third-place match, while Japan will face Sanfrecce Hiroshima in the final match today.

The best Vietnamese players at the event will be selected to the national U16 team for the 2015 ASEAN U16 Football Championships in Cambodia in late July and then in the qualifying round of the 2015 Asian U16 Football Championships. — VNS
