HA NOI (VNS) — Viet Nam's national beach football team are placed 31st in the latest rankings released by the Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW) federation.

The top three ranks belong to Russia, Brazil and Switzerland.

With 90 points, Viet Nam is ranked fourth in the Asian region, just behind the United Arab Emirates, Iran and Japan.

Under the guidance of head coach Dang Quoc Hung, Viet Nam won a silver medal at the recent Southeast Asian Beach Football Championships, and reached the semi-finals of the Asian Beach Games. — VNS
