Taekwondo referee Vu Xuan Thanh has been invited to officiate at the 2012 London Olympics this summer.

Thanh currently heads the taekwondo department of the National Sport Administration.

Earlier, martial artists Le Huynh Chau and Chu Hoang Dieu Linh secured their Olympic berths in the men's 58kg event and the women's 67kg event, respectively. — VNS
