With three golds and one silver, Viet Nam topped the table in the performance team event for both the men's and women's competitions at the 21st World Military Taekwondo Championships which wrapped up in HCM City on Wednesday.

In the combat event, China triumphed with eight golds, one silver and two bronzes. Iran finished second with three golds, two silvers and two bronzes, followed by Germany with one gold, three silvers and two bronzes.

The four-day event attracted 34 teams from Brazil, Colombia, France, Italy, South Korea, Canada, Ecuador and hosts Viet Nam.The International Military Sports Council has announced that the 22nd World Military Taekwondo Championship will be held in the US.-VNS
