HA NOI (VNS)— Viet Nam suffered their first loss of the Southeast Asia Women's Futsal Championship after losing to Thailand 5-2 in their second match on Monday in Naypyidaw, Myanmar.
The win pushes the Thais to the top of the group with six points from two matches while Viet Nam have now dropped to second place with three points from two games.
The team previously came back from 2-0 down to beat Myanmar 4-3 in the opening game.
Viet Nam will meet bottom team Malaysia in the last match at the Wunna Theikdi Sports Complex. — VNS
