HA NOI (VNS)– The Viet Nam National Museum of History will host the fourth annual conference of the Asian National Museum Association here between October 7 and 9.
According to Nguyen Van Cuong, director of the museum, representatives from 15 Asian countries and some Asian embassies will attend.
This conference will discuss how museum make contributions to changing society. Topics will include using museum as educational tools, and creating museum tours.
Cuong said the conference was a chance for Vietnamese museums to confirm their role in the regional and international museum community.
The association has 13 members, including national museums from Japan, Cambodia, South Korea, China, Mongolia and India. – VNS
