HA NOI (VNS) — Viet Nam's Thai Son Nam will face Al Rayyan SC of Qatar in the quarter-finals of the Asian Football Confederation Futsal Club Championship today in Isfahan, Iran.
It is the first time a Vietnamese team has entered the last-eight of the continental tournament.
Thai Son Nam have four points after two matches and top Group D. Al Rayyan SC are placed second in Group C after winning one match and losing one during the group stage.
Bank of Beirut from Lebanon are also placed second, with the same points, while last year's semi-finalist Shenzhen Nanling Tielang FC of China are bottom with no points.
Bank of Beirut will play Iraq's Naft Al-Wasat.
The two other matches are between MFC Emgek of Kyrgyzstan and Qadsia of Kuwait, and Tasisat Daryaei of Iran and Nagoya Oceans of Japan. — VNS
