HA NOI (VNS) — VTV Binh Dien Long An defeated PVD Thai Binh in their Group B's third match at the second round of the National Volleyball Championships in HCM City on November 17.
Long An, with veterans such as Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa, Ha Ngoc Diem and Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, easily crushed their rivals 25-13 in the first set.
After that, Coach Nguyen Van Hai withdrew these key players to give a chance to youngsters. Long An again won 25-22 and also controlled the next set to win 25-12.
Earlier, Long An had lost to Vietinbank and had defeated Air Force-Air Defence.
Long An will next meet Binh Phuoc, while Thai Binh face Vietinbank on November 19.
