HA NOI (VNS) — Vietnamese volleyball player Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa was named one of the best spikers of the Thai National League's first stage.

The 27-year-old player, who is playing for Bangkok Glass Club, ranked second out of five best players. Her teammate Pleumjit Thinkaow took the lead, while Utaiwan Kaensing of Sisaket VC came third.

Hoa also took the award for best server.

With Hoa's contribution, her club Bangkok Glass temporarily took the lead among the eight clubs in the League.

Hoa plays as an attacker for domestic club VTV Binh Dien Long An and the Vietnamese national team, but she welcomes approaches from foreign clubs, especially in Thailand. — VNS
