rights for the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup, head of VTV's
secretary board Nguyen Ha Nam officially announced yesterday.

The deal follows negotiations between VTV and Dentsu Alpha – the AFF Suzuki Cup's TV rights provider.
"We began broadcasting the AFF-Suzuki Cup as soon as the deal was finalised. VTV will share the rights with local television stations in Viet Nam to bring the biggest regional football competition to the public," Nam said.
VTV will cover all of the championships to be co-hosted by Thailand and Malaysia from November 24 to December 22.
Viet Nam, who are drawn in Group A with Thailand, Myanmar and the Philippines, will kick off their title bid against Myanmar at Bangkok's Rajamangala Stadium on November 24. — VNS
