The Viet Nam wushu team yesterday left for China to take part in the World Sanshou Cup.

The 11-member squad under coach Le Minh Ha will compete in two or three categories.

The tournament, which was first organised in 2002, is only for those who were in top four of each weight category in the world championships.

Previously Viet Nam won two gold, two silver and six bronze medals.-VNS
