HA NOI (VNS) — CAMA Vietnam and the Swedish Embassy have collaborated for the first time to present the city with some of the most exciting, groundbreaking young acts from Sweden tonight at CAMA ATK.
The night will feature the light electro of The Deer Tracks. Versatile multi-instrumentalists and singers David Lehnberg and Elin Lindfors, handle everything from writing to recording. Their songs often stride fearlessly into the primeval forest armed with a stuttering beat and a rattling arsenal of percussion, which somehow blend together with other natural sounds.
Among the other acts will be The Twiggy Frostbite, who made their breakthrough six years ago when their debut album Through Fire was released. The band members themselves describe their music as a paradox. Beautiful meets ugly, calm meets stormy, soft meets angular and brutal.
The night will also present Adora Eye with singer/songwriter and drummer Jimmy Jonsso. His songs are dark, bright and shrewd about the good and bad in life.
Advance tickets cost VND80,000 at ticketbox.vn or VND150,000 on the door. CAMA ATK is at 73A Mai Hac De Street. — VNS
