Southeast Asia to present their compositions at its regional
competition.
HA NOI (VNS)— Talented young composers have been invited by the Goethe Institute in Southeast Asia to present their compositions at its regional competition.
The 2013 edition is co-held by the institute and the College of Music at Mahidol University in Salaya, Thailand.
Ten outstanding composers will be selected by an international jury. The composers and their works will be discussed at a Bangkok workshop in December, which will also be attended by Berlin-based contemporary music group Ensemble Mosaik.
After the workshop, three chosen winners will be awarded cash-prizes. The workshop and related concerts will be held from December 9-15.
All entries should be addressed to Goethe Institute Bangkok before July 31.-VNS
